Two members of the Arkansas Tech University staff have taken on new roles in the realm of administration and finance.
Katherine Ehemann (photographed, left) was promoted to associate controller, while Brooke Southard (photographed, right) will oversee the implementation of an internal audit function at Arkansas Tech in addition to her previous duties as director of payroll and special services.
Their new roles were approved by the Arkansas Tech Board of Trustees during its December meeting.
A two-time graduate of Arkansas Tech, Ehemann holds a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting. She also completed the three-year College Business Management Institute at the University of Kentucky.
Southard earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration with an emphasis in accounting at Arkansas Tech. She is a current Certified Public Accountant exam candidate. Southard will attend year two of the College Business Management Institute at the University of Kentucky in summer 2012.
