River Valley residents will be able to safely recycle electronic equipment next month during a drive hosted by three Arkansas Tech student organizations.
Enactus, the Campus Environmental Coalition and Green and Gold Give Back will partner to host an e-waste recycling drive on Saturday, Nov. 14 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the Tucker Coliseum Parking Lot. The drive is in partnership with eSCO processing and recycling.
The goal of the drive is to assist community members in the safe disposal of old and unused electronic items.
The following items will be collected for safe disposal:
- Computers
- Printers
- Digital Cameras
- Stereos
- A/V Equipment
- Cell Phones
- Telephones
- VCRs
- DVD Players
- CD Players
- Microwaves
- Vacuum Players
- Televisions – with a $10 donation
The groups have hosted the drive annually for several years helping local residents dispose of several tons of electronic waste.
