Drive-Thru Dinner Series Continues Thursday

Students from the Arkansas Tech University Department of Parks, Recreation and Hospitality Administration will serve a Japanese-themed meal for their Thursday, Oct. 21, drive-thru dinner series event.

The meal will include choice of house salad or karaage (Japanese fried chicken) for a starter and an option of katsu don pork cutlet rice bowl or yakisoba (Japanese-style stir-fried noodles) with shrimp or chicken for an entree. Dessert selections are Japanese roll cake or cheesecake parfait.

Meals may be reserved in advance by calling (479) 356-2198 or sending e-mail to smcdowall@atu.edu.

Meals will be available from 5-6 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 21, at 404 N. El Paso Ave. in Russellville. Cost will be $15 per meal (tax included). Cash, check, debit card and credit card will be accepted forms of payment.

The dinners are staffed by ATU students in the advanced food preparation and guest services classes.
