Dress the Part Deadline Friday

  • Three professional development workshops per semester for two semesters
  • Conduct a mock interview with Norman Career Services
  • Have a resume and cover letter critiqued by Norman Career Services
  • Perform 60 hours of experiential learning within their field of study
  • Once a student has completed the requirements, students will be able to borrow up to $500 to purchase new business attire. They will also receive a padfolio, 50 business cards and will be presented a certificate of completion at an awards ceremony. Norman Career Services will assist eligible students in selecting professional attire in time for the general career fair. “Norman Career Services hopes this program will help students in their efforts to find a position after they graduate,” said Dana Tribble, director. “We know that finding quality business attire can be expensive, and we want to help eliminate that burden for our students and give them the extra confidence needed to excel in an interview.” Students receiving the funds are asked to repay it within two years of graduating, and the funds will then be distributed to other students.
