Dress the Part Continues this Spring

“Buying proper interview attire can be quite expensive,” said Melanie Diffey, career counselor with Norman Career Services. “Through this program, we are able to eliminate that burden for our students which can help alleviate some of the stress they may face when looking for a position. We hope that within two years students will repay the funds they borrow so they may be paid forward to assist other students who are preparing for a career.”

In addition to interview attire, students will receive a padfolio, 50 business cards, a professional head shot and a certificate of completion.
In order to successfully complete the program, students must take part in several opportunities offered by Norman Career Services including:
  • Three professional development workshops per semester for two semesters
  • Conduct a mock interview with Norman Career Services
  • Have a resume and cover letter critiqued by Norman Career Services
  • Perform 60 hours of experiential learning within their field of study
Students wishing to take part must have completed 60 earned hours and have a 2.75 grade point average, and the deadline to register is Friday, Jan. 30.
