Dr. David Visits Tech

 

Renowned geriatrician Dr. David Lipschitz will be on the Arkansas Tech campus on Wednesday for a lecture and breakfast in the Chambers Cafeteria East Dining Room.

The free event is hosted by the Department of Behavioral Sciences and is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m.  Following his lecture, Dr. David will sign copies of his latest book.  His book is entitled Dr. David’s First Health Book of MORE (Not Less) and is designed to help individuals live a healthier, happier and longer life.

Dr. David currently serves as the director of The Longevity Center at St. Vincent, and he is nationally recognized as a leader in the field of geriatrics. He has served as chair of the Research Committee of the American Geriatrics Society and chair of the Association of Directors of Geriatric Academic Programs.

Dr. David has also been named one of the “Best Doctors In America” on numerous occasions, and he can be seen each week on KATV and Good Morning Arkansas discussing aspects of health when caring for seniors.
