The Arkansas Tech Office of Residence Life has been recognized regionally for the efforts of one of its resident directors.
Luke Dooly, an undergraduate resident director of South Hall and East Gate Apartments, won the Student Staff Member of the Year honor from the Southwest Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls conference in Texas earlier this month.
As the top winner in the category, Dooly will now be considered for the Student Staff Member of the Year from the National Affiliate of College and University Residence Halls.
Several members of the Arkansas Tech Residence Hall Association and the National Residence Hall Honorary attended the conference and were on hand to accept the award.
The annual conference is designed to provide student leaders with information about leadership, programming ideas and networking opportunities.
