Delta Zeta Participates in Silent Sunday

Members of the Arkansas Tech University Delta Zeta Sorority traveled to Little Rock over the weekend to volunteer at the annual Silent Sunday event, which was held at the State House Convention Center.

Members of the Arkansas Tech University Delta Zeta Sorority traveled to Little Rock over the weekend to volunteer at the annual Silent Sunday event, which was held at the State House Convention Center.

The event is a fundraiser for the Arkansas School for the Deaf, and members of Delta Zeta volunteered as servers during the event to raise awareness about the Arkansas School for the Deaf.

Delta Zeta’s philanthropy is speech and hearing, and Delta Zeta members say volunteering at Silent Sunday each year is one way the sorority works to support their philanthropy.

In all, about 13 Delta Zeta members volunteered as part of this year’s Silent Sunday event.
