The Arkansas Tech debate team claimed victory in the Southern Forensics Championship tournament last weekend, and brought home a total of seven awards.
Ashley Andrews and Hunter Rogers went undefeated through the preliminary rounds of the tournament.
In novice debate, Andrews concluded the successful tournament as a semi-finalist, and Rogers earned a quarterfinalist award.
Seth Fendley was awarded the second place overall novice speaker award and the champion novice speaker for Arkansas award.
Annie George, David Tuttle, and Chantel Moseby received double-octofinals awards in the novice division.
Five students made it to the final round of debate: Annie George, David Tuttle, Chantel Moseby, Ashley Andrews, and Hunter Rogers.
The tournament was held on the University of Central Arkansas campus.
