The College of eTech will offer an eight-week course during the spring 2016 semester for full-time Arkansas Tech University faculty members interested in becoming certified to teach online courses.
Application deadline for the spring 2016 eTech certification course is Monday, Nov. 23, 2015, at 5 p.m. The course will be limited to 18 participants. Selection will be based upon strength of application. Previous online teaching experience is not required.
The course will provide full-time faculty members with an opportunity to connect with peers and learn best practices for teaching online.
Dr. Mark Mitchell, instructional design specialist in the College of eTech, will lead the course.
