The Arkansas Tech Alumni Association has announced “Day at the Zoo” for alumni and friends of Tech and their families.
On Saturday, May 21, Arkansas Tech alumni will receive a special rate of $15 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under at the Little Rock Zoo.
That price includes admission, lunch and an animal presentation by a zoo specialist with educational animals that is not open to the general public.
At 9 a.m., the zoo will open. Lunch at the zoo’s Civitan Pavilion will be at 11:30 a.m., followed by the animal presentation at Civitan Amphitheatre at 1 p.m. The zoo will close at 5 p.m.
