Arkansas Tech University head baseball coach Dave Dawson reached a career milestone during the Wonder Boys’ 2016 season-opening series against St. Mary’s University.
Dawson collected his 200th win as Arkansas Tech head baseball coach when the Wonder Boys took down nationally 15th-ranked St. Mary’s 5-3 on Saturday in the middle contest of a three-game series in San Antonio, Texas.
The Rattlers defeated Arkansas Tech 10-6 on Friday and 10-7 on Sunday to take 2-of-3 games during the non-conference series.
The Wonder Boys will open the home portion of their 2016 schedule by hosting Missouri Western State University for a three-game series on Saturday, Feb. 6, and Sunday, Feb. 7, at Tech Field in Russellville. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday and noon Sunday.
