Tadam Mergener’s double-double of 14 kills and 10 digs led the Dallas Baptist Lady Patriots to a 25-22, 25-16, 17-25, 25-23 non-conference volleyball win over the Arkansas Tech Golden Suns at the Burg Center in Dallas, Texas, on Friday.
The Lady Patriots (6-3) received eight blocks apiece from Markayla Benoit and Kristin Secord as Dallas Baptist improved to 2-0 at home this season.
Carly Florian recorded 15 kills and Amber Cerrillos notched 46 assists and 16 digs for the Golden Suns (7-4).
Arkansas Tech is scheduled to face Philander Smith College for a non-conference volleyball doubleheader in Little Rock on Saturday. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
