Cami Hedstrom’s fourth-place finish in the individual standings propelled the Arkansas Tech University cross country team to a runner-up showing in the team portion of the University of the Ozarks Open on Saturday morning in Clarksville.
Hedstrom, a freshman from Bentonville, completed the 5-kilometer course in 19 minutes, 41 seconds.
Amy Riera (11th, 20:26), Angel Mapp (27th, 21:16), Mallory Morris (30th, 21:20), Logan Edwards (31st, 21:25), Megan Bradley (47th, 22:06), Erika Nava Diaz (50th, 22:19), Adrianna Simmons (54th, 22:52) and Reagan Smith (63rd, 24:02) also represented the Golden Suns in Clarksville.
Arkansas Tech will participate in the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Open at Rebsamen Park Golf Course in Little Rock on Saturday, Oct. 15.
