Numerous sorority members were recognized for their academics earlier this week. The College Panhellenic Council (CPC) recognized sorority members who have earned a 3.14 or higher GPA.
To honor the women, the CPC hosted a “Pi Party” The party is based off of the number pi represents in math. Each sorority member achieving a 3.14 was invited to attend the event.
The first Pi Party was hosted in Fall 2009, and organizers say it’s a way to recognized those individuals who strive to maintain high academic standards.
