Contestant Courtney Buie is from Batesville, Arkansas, and her parents are Pam and Jerry Buie. For the talent competition, Courtney will perform a flute solo of the song “It Don’t Mean a Thing (If it Ain’t Got That Swing).” For her critical issue, Courtney will support saving a life, one unit at a time. Courtney’s sponsor is student organization Sigma Alpha Iota.
