Continuing Education Fall Offerings Announced

 

The Arkansas Tech University Department of Continuing Education has announced it will host a variety of classes in its fall schedule of courses.  Among the course offerings available, are classes on fitness, cooking and using a computer.

Additionally, there are several classes designed to assist individuals with the LSAT, Praxis and ACT.

Lisa Cochran, director of continuing education at Arkansas Tech, says there are a wide variety of courses available that appeal to many varied and diverse interests.

The complete fall schedule includes:

  • Morning Aqua Aerobics: Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from Aug.19-Dec. 1, 8-8:50 a.m., Hull Building Swimming Pool; $160, or $150 for early bird registration and $140 with an Arkansas Tech identification card. Early bird deadline is Aug. 22. Instructor is Pam Garland.
  • Evening Aqua Aerobics: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from Aug. 29-Dec. 1, 7-7:50 p.m., Hull Building Swimming Pool; $120, or $110 for early bird registration and $100 with an Arkansas Tech identification card. Early bird deadline is Aug. 22. Instructor is Tina Chronister.
