Construction crews are working throughout the summer to complete the Baswell Techionery before classes begin this fall.
The new student union is a 14,220-square foot facility and is located between Nutt Hall and Chambers Cafeteria.
The Baswell Techoionery bears the name of Col. Carl F. Baswell. Col. Baswell is a member of the Class of 1942, and he was inducted into the Arkansas Tech Hall of Distinction in 2009.
Upon its completion, the facility will house several additional on-campus eating options for Arkansas Tech students.
