U.S. Congressman Steve Womack will be on the Arkansas Tech University campus this week for a town hall meeting concerning jobs.
The public forum will take place from noon-1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 11, in room 138 at Rothwell Hall.
Womack is a first-term member of the U.S. House of Representatives from the Third District of Arkansas. He was elected to the U.S. House in 2010 after serving 12 years as mayor of Rogers.
A native of Russellville, Womack graduated from Arkansas Tech with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1979. He retired from the Arkansas Army National Guard at the rank of Colonel in 2009 following a 30-year military career.
