Congressional Internships Available

Internships will be available through Congressman Womack’s Washington, D.C., office, as well as his offices in Harrison, Fort Smith and Rogers. According to Congressman Womack’s Web site, interns “will work closely with Congressman Womack’s staff and constituents while learning the inner workings of the United States Congress and about issues affecting Arkansans.” The site states that students interested in the fields of political science, government, public policy, business and social work are encouraged to apply. Congressman Womack (photographed during a recent guest lecture at Arkansas Tech) represents the third district of Arkansas in the U.S. House of Representatives.
