Ross Pendergraft Library and Technology Center at Arkansas Tech University will observe the beginning of the final season of a popular television program with an event on Thursday, April 11.
The “Game of Thrones” season eight kickoff event at RPL will include a panel discussion featuring ATU faculty and staff members Dr. Deborah Wilson, Dr. Christopher Housenick, Dr. Arwen Taylor and Slade Dupuy.
“The panel will explore and celebrate the pop culture phenomenon that the show has become over the past decade,” said Dupuy, who is a science fiction and fantasy author.
The event will begin with a reception at 6:30 p.m. The panel discussion will start at 7 p.m. in room 300A of the library. Admission will be free and open to the public.
