Arkansas Tech University will recognize the Ozark community at this week’s football game and Party at the Plaza. Arkansas Tech is hosting community days at several games this fall as a way to thank the communities that continually support Tech.
As part of each community day, members of that community are invited to take part in Party at the Plaza and then head inside the stadium to cheer on the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys.
Organizers say the purpose of the community day is to recognize the importance of local communities and to thank community members for their support of Arkansas Tech.
On Saturday, October 8, Arkansas Tech will recognize Yell County. At last week’s game, Tech honored the Russellville community.
