Commencement Day at Arkansas Tech

Arkansas Tech University awarded more than 600 degrees during commencement exercises Saturday at John E. Tucker Coliseum.

Graduates from the College of Applied Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Natural and Health Sciences, the College of Professional Studies and Community Outreach and all associate degrees received their degrees during the 10 a.m. ceremony.

During the 2 p.m. ceremony, students graduating from the Graduate College, the College of Arts and Humanities and the College of Education were recognized.

Dr. Lester P. Monts was inducted into the Arkansas Tech University Hall of Distinction during the 10 a.m. ceremony.  Induction into the Arkansas Tech University Hall of Distinction is the highest honor that can be bestowed upon an alumnus or alumna, and Monts was the 101st person to receive the honor.

Arkansas Tech University – Ozark Campus will host its commencement exercises Saturday evening.  Read more about the ceremony.
