Bernadette Hinkle, vice president for administration and finance at Arkansas Tech University, has announced the hiring of Jonathan Collins as energy manager in the ATU Office of Facilities Management effective Jan. 2, 2019.
Collins is primarily tasked with monitoring the energy phase I projects to meet the guaranteed energy savings goals of the university. He will also be responsible for providing classes, seminars and other outreach activities concerning energy efficiency on the ATU campuses in Russellville and Ozark.
A 2009 graduate of Arkansas Tech University with a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in information technology, Collins worked in the Arkansas Tech University Office of Information Systems from 2010 until the time of his appointment as energy manager.
Collins also holds a Master of Science degree in emergency management and homeland security from ATU. He and his wife, Brandi, live in Dardanelle with their two children.
