College to Career Center to Host Advising Sessions

 

When Arkansas Tech students return to classes on Monday, some students in the College of Business will be able to take advantage of advising from the College to Career Center.

The College to Career Center will oversee advising for freshmen, transfer students and students who are new to the College of Business.

The center will offer advising sessions March 27-April 5, and students are required to attend one of the sessions.  Students may sign up for one of the advising times through Blackboard by selecting the course College of Business Advising.

Advising sessions will be offered at the following times:

March 27

  • 8-9:30 a.m., Rothwell Room 313, Management and Marketing Majors
  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Economic and Finance Majors
  • 2:30-4 p.m., Rothwell Room 213, Accounting Majors

March 28

  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Accounting Majors
  • 2:30-4 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Economic and Finance Majors

March 29

  • 8-9:30 a.m., Rothwell Room 313, Economic and Finance Majors and Accounting Majors
  • 2:30-4 p.m., Rothwell Room 213, Management and Marketing Majors

March 30

  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Management and Marketing Majors

April 3

  • 8-9:30 a.m., Rothwell Room 132, Any Major
  • 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Any Major

April 4

  • 1-2:30 p.m., Rothwell Room 132, Management and Marketing Majors

April 5

  • 2:30-4 p.m., Rothwell Room 213, Any Major

The College to Career Center focuses on professionally developing the holistic College of Business student.  Each College of Business student also has a faculty advisor who serves as a professional mentor to students.
