Arkansas Tech University student Leah Cleaver will be among those competing for the title of Miss Arkansas this June in Hot Springs. Cleaver captured the Miss North Central Arkansas crown Saturday evening in Harrison. In addition to winning the right to compete at Miss Arkansas, Cleaver earned a prize package and a scholarship. Miss Arkansas is an official preliminary to the Miss America pageant. The Miss America Organization leads the country in providing scholarships to women. Additionally, Tech student Logan Moore will compete in the pageant as Miss Arkansas Tech University, and Claire Hodgson will represent Miss Petit Jean Valley.
