Choirs Taking Part in Spring Tour

The Arkansas Tech Concert Chorale and the Arkansas Tech Chamber Choir are taking part in a choir tour throughout Arkansas and Texas.

Over the course of three days, the groups will offer five concerts at various churches, high schools and colleges.  The tour, which began on Sunday, will conclude on Tuesday.
The performance locations include:
  • Grand Avenue United Methodist Church in Hot Springs, Arkansas
  • First Presbyterian Church in Texarkana, Arkansas
  • Arkansas High School in Texarkana, Arkansas
  • Texarkana College in Texarkana, Texas
  • Lake Hamilton High School in Pearcy, Arkansas
The two choirs are under the direction of Gary Morris, and following the tour, the Arkansas Tech choirs will present a spring concert in Russellville on Thursday.  The concert will begin at 7:30 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Russellville.
