Chick-fil-A Leadercast, a global leadership forum broadcast live from Atlanta, Ga., will be available for area residents at the Doc Bryan Student Services Building Lecture Hall on the Arkansas Tech University campus in Russellville on Friday, May 4.
Last year’s Chick-fil-A Leadercast drew 85,000 participants at 600 host sites in 17 countries around the globe. It is estimated that the 2012 event will include 125,000 participants. The theme of this year’s leadercast is “Making Choices.”
The local presentation of the event is co-sponsored by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce and the Arkansas Tech Professional Development Institute.

Cost for those who register in advance will be $75, which includes lunch, access to all four sessions of the single-day event and a leadership journal. Cost will be $99 for registration the day of the event.

“This is a great event because it builds people up and strengthens them for leadership,” said Adam Robison, director of the Arkansas Tech Professional Development Institute. “Tickets are limited, so we encourage anyone interested in attending the event to register as soon as possible.”
Speakers during the 2012 Chick-fil-A Leadercast will include Tim Tebow, National Football League quarterback and best-selling author; John Maxwell, author of the best-seller “The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership;” Soledad O’Brien, anchor and special correspondent for CNN; Urban Meyer, head football coach at Ohio State University; and Ronald Fryer, professor of economics at Harvard University and chief executive officer of the Education Innovation Laboratory.
The first session of the Chick-fil-A Leadercast will begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, May 4, and the event will conclude at 3:30 p.m. that afternoon.
