Celebrating Constitution Day

The United States Constitution was signed on September 17, 1778. On Monday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. there will be a Constitution Day Celebration in the Student Services and Conference Center on the Ozark campus featuring Fifth Judicial Circuit Judge Gordon “Mac” McCain. Following our guest speaker, students may enjoy free popcorn and drink while watching the movie The End of America. The first 100 students to attend the event will receive a pocket constitution.

Other activities being offered to the students this week include visiting the library to learn more about the Bill of Rights and receive a patriotic lapel pin. If students wear red, white and blue they will be eligible to place their name into a drawing to win patriotic prizes in celebrating of the Constitution. Winners will be announced on Friday, September 17.

We encourage everyone in the Tech community to read the Constitution. To test your skills and learn more about it, visit the Ozark campus Library Website at: http://livebinders.com/play/play_or_edit?id=26729
