The Office of Academic Affairs has released the 2010-2011 Arkansas Tech University Undergraduate Catalog. Beginning with the 2010-2011 academic year, the catalog will be offered solely online through the Arkansas Tech University website.
The Arkansas Tech University Undergraduate Catalog contains information regarding requirements for graduation, descriptions of each course offered at Arkansas Tech and services available to Arkansas Tech students.
Casey Hergett in the Office of Computer Services at Arkansas Tech worked with the Office of Academic Affairs to design and create an online catalog.
“We are grateful to Casey for his assistance in creating the online version of the catalog,” says Dr. John Watson, vice president for academic affairs at Arkansas Tech University. “Computer Services worked with the Office of Academic Affairs in order to create an online version of the catalog that would prove beneficial for all users.”
The Office of Academic Affairs says the online catalog offers new user-friendly features including a course description application that will allow users to immediately access the descriptions of courses.
Additionally, the Office of Academic Affairs says the online catalog will assist the university in its efforts to be more environmentally friendly.
