Academic Affairs has extended the application deadline for the Cardiovascular Technology and Medical Assisting programs to Monday, June 1, in an effort to expand the applicant pool and opportunity for interested, qualified students. Medical Assisting (MA) program courses are held at Morton Hall in Russellville. Cardiovascular Technology (CVT) courses are held at Chaffee Crossing in Fort Smith. Applications are available online and in the Allied Health Building lobby. Interested students should have application and supporting materials submitted to allied health by 4:30 p.m. on June 1. Students interested in CVT must attend an information session and observation clinic on Thursday, June 4, at Chaffee Crossing Building 139, 12211 Ward Drive in Fort Smith. There will be a presentation and overview of the CVT program at 10 a.m. The observation clinic portion will begin at 1 p.m. Seating for the session is limited, and students must register with allied health to attend.
