Canned food sculptures have been judged and the 2011 WonderWeek committee has announced the winners.
The first place sculpture was a giraffe with a Tech scarf built by Nutt Hall. They will be awarded $300.
The second place sculpture was a lion constructed by Phi Mu Fraternity. They will be awarded $200.
The third place winner was a syringe made from cans by the Pre-Med Club. They will be awarded $100.
This was the first year for the canned food sculpture competition. The cans will be donated to local food banks with SIFE’s “Let’s Can Hunger” campaign.
