Campus Beautification Effort Continues

Arkansas Tech University is continuing the campus beautification effort it began this past spring.  The university is currently in the process of planting an additional 60 trees throughout the campus.

Last spring, the university conducted extensive tree planting thanks to the generosity of two longtime Arkansas Tech supporters.  In all more than 100 trees were planted with private funds contributed by Mr. and Mrs. Robert Norman of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The additional trees that are being planted are a continuation of the beautification effort and are being planted according to an architectural landscape plan produced by AMR Architecture of Little Rock.

“Robert and Sandra Norman are longtime supporters of Arkansas Tech, especially in the areas of the arts, landscaping and athletics,” said Dr. Robert C. Brown, president of Arkansas Tech University. “We are grateful to them for enabling us to make these campus improvements.”
