Chartwells helped Arkansas Tech University students mark the 100th anniversary of the beginning of classes at Tech by serving a special batch of cupcakes on Tuesday, Oct. 26.
Six hundred green and gold iced cupcakes were available on a table in the Chambers Cafeteria dining hall for lunch on Tuesday.
Atop the cupcake display was the number 100 to signify the fact that 100 years ago Tuesday was the first day of classes at Arkansas Tech, which was then known as the Second District Agricultural School.
