Numerous area businesses are setting up today for the annual River Valley Business Expo. The expo is taking place tomorrow at Tucker Coliseum on the Arkansas Tech University campus.
The expo is hosted by the Russellville Area Chamber of Commerce, and more than 100 area businesses are expected to participate.
There is a special preview event this evening for expo participants, and the expo will take place tomorrow from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Each year several thousand area residents typically attend, and those in attendance have the opportunity to visit with area businesses and register for numerous door prizes that are given away throughout the event.
Organizers say the annual expo is designed to give the businesses in the area “an excellent opportunity to meet potential customers and make excellent ‘business to business’ contacts.”
