Bridgestone Donates to Tech Men's Basketball

The Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund has made a $2,000 donation to the Arkansas Tech University Foundation in support of the Wonder Boys basketball program.

The Bridgestone Americas Trust Fund has made a $2,000 donation to the Arkansas Tech University Foundation in support of the Wonder Boys basketball program.

The Wonder Boys are defending regular season and postseason champions of the Great American Conference. They reached the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Division II Tournament for the first time in Arkansas Tech men’s basketball history last March and finished the 2011-12 season with an overall record of 26-6.

Tech will open its 2012-13 men’s basketball season on Thursday, Nov. 15, with a 7 p.m. non-conference game against Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.

The Wonder Boys’ first home game of the 2012-13 season will be on Thursday, Nov. 29, against Southern Nazarene University.
