The 21st edition of Brass in the Clouds presented by the Arkansas Tech University Department of Music and Mount Nebo State Park is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 26.
The performance will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Mount Nebo’s Sunset Point. The public is invited to attend. Mount Nebo State Park recommends that audience members bring blankets or chairs for seating comfort.
The first Brass in the Clouds took place in the autumn of 2005, and except for the pandemic year of 2020, it has been held at Mount Nebo’s Sunset Point every year since.
The 2026 edition will feature performances by the ATU Trumpet Ensemble led by Dr. T.J. Perry, the ATU Horn Ensemble directed by Dr. Erin Futterer, the ATU Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble under Dr. Sam Revis and the ATU Trombone Choir directed by Dr. Sean Reed.
