Arkansas Tech cross country team member Kaitlin Bounds finished sixth in the 2012 Golden Suns Meet outside Tucker Coliseum on Friday, Oct. 5.
Bounds (photographed), a junior from Russellville, covered the two-mile course in 12 minutes, 32 seconds.
Kayla Waldrup (9th, 13:18), Amanda Bradbury (11th, 13:37), Cheryl Fleming (14th, 14:15), Ally Selman (15th, 15:24) and Monika Montoya (16th, 15:51) also competed for Arkansas Tech.
Harding University won the meet with 15 points. Arkansas Tech finished second with 50 points.
Harding’s Ewa Zaborowska won the individual title with a time of 11:18, which was 36 seconds faster than her nearest competition.
The Golden Suns are scheduled to run in the Chile Pepper Cross Country Festival in Fayetteville on Saturday, Oct. 13.
