While many Arkansas Tech students are enjoying their summer break, the Arkansas Tech bookstore is already planning for the fall by offering extra savings for students who purchase their books in advance.
Students who purchase their books online through the Arkansas Tech Bookstore website will be eligible to receive a 5% discount if purchasing the books prior to Friday, July 31.
Bookstore officials say those students purchasing their books in advance will pay for the books using the online system and will be able to stop by the bookstore this fall to pickup their textbooks.
This is the second year the Arkansas Tech Bookstore has extended a special discount to early shoppers, and bookstore officials say the early orders help reduce wait times for students in the fall.
In all, several hundred students are expected to purchase their books online this fall using the Arkansas Tech Bookstore website.
