Arkansas Tech University will begin its celebration of Black History Month 2018 with a kick-off event at Hindsman Tower on Thursday, Feb. 1.
Beginning at noon, presentations will include information about the origin of Black History Month, addresses by members of the ATU African American Student Association and a performance by United Voices of Praise, a registered student organization at Arkansas Tech.
The event is sponsored by the ATU Department of Diversity and Inclusion. All members of the university community are invited to attend.
