Bernstein to Continue Lecture Series

The Department of History and Political Science will host Professor David Bernstein, the first guest lecturer of the spring semester, later this month.

The presentation is scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 23, at 7 p.m. in Rothwell 221.

Bernstein, the George Mason University Foundation Professor at the George Mason University School of Law, will present a lecture entitled, “Rehabilitating Lochner: Defending Individual Rights Against Progressive Reform.”

Bernstein is the author of You Can’t Say That! The Growing Threat of Civil Liberties from Antidiscrimination Laws and Rehabilitating Lochner: Defending Individual Rights Against Progressive Reform.

At the end of the lecture, students and others in attendance will have the opportunity to ask questions.

Admission to the lectures is free to anyone who would like to attend. This is an instalment of the 2011-2012 Guest Lecture Series on Politics, Liberty and Political Economy.
