Arkansas Tech University alumnus Cody Belew continues to impress and advance on the NBC television program “The Voice.”
During the episode that aired on Monday, Oct. 29, Belew performed the Dolly Parton song “Jolene.”
Belew was matched up against fellow Team CeeLo member Avery Wilson. Coach CeeLo Green selected Belew as the winner of the knockout round match-up to keep Belew’s dreams of winning a recording contract alive.
The show will continue throughout the fall. Belew will be a part of the live performances with a chance to sing for the grand prize of a recording contract.
A native of Beebe, Belew graduated from Arkansas Tech in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in music. He now resides in Nashville, Tenn.
