Arkansas Tech students will have the opportunity to take the first step in becoming Tech Idol 2012 Tuesday evening.
The Residence Hall Association will be hosting auditions at 7 p.m. in Doc Bryan Lecture Hall. Students wanting to participate must present a valid Tech ID to be eligible.
Participants selected during the auditions will compete in the first round of competition on Tuesday, October 2 as part of Homecoming week festivities at Arkansas Tech.
The new Tech Idol will be crowned following a final competition on Thursday, October 4.
ArkansasTechNews.com will be at the auditions and will have interviews with several of those auditioning.
