Battle of the Halls Changes Lives

Battle of the Halls is a competition that encourages fun within the residence hall communities, but it also focuses on making a difference through March of Dimes.

Each year, the halls collect change for March of Dimes for several weeks prior to the week of Battle of the Halls.

The money each hall collects is translated into points that are calculated into the final score, which ultimately determines the winner.

In 2009, $800 was collected for March of Dimes. Last year, the halls collected approximately $1200. They nearly doubled that amount this year, garnering a total donation of $2,334.73.
