Members of the Arkansas Tech University Band of Distinction took time off from practice yesterday to showcase several new instruments.
During yesterday’s exhibition, the band performed the Arkansas Tech University fight song for administrators.
Dr. Christopher Anderson, associate professor of music and director of bands at Arkansas Tech, says the new instruments are a great improvement for the band and will enhance the band’s performance.
The new instruments were purchased over the summer and will formally debut at home football games this fall.
