Arkansas Tech University is hosting approximately 170 students for its 2025 senior high band camp on the ATU campus in Russellville.
Founded in 1964 by Gene Witherspoon, ATU band camps have provided thousands of young performers with a primer in instrumental music while also serving as an introduction to campus for generations of future Arkansas Tech students.
The 2025 ATU senior high band camp will conclude at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 19, with a series of concerts in Witherspoon Auditorium.
The ATU Department of Music will continue its summer 2025 band camp schedule by hosting junior high students June 22-26 and middle school students July 13-17.
