Arkansas Tech University is one of just three NCAA Division II members ranked in the national top 25 poll for football and volleyball this week.
The Golden Suns (18-0 overall, 5-0 Great American Conference) are No. 18 in the American Volleyball Coaches Association NCAA Division II top 25 released on Monday, Oct. 2, while the Wonder Boys (4-1, 4-1) are No. 24 in the American Football Coaches Association NCAA Division II top 25 poll.
The other NCAA Division II members ranked in both polls are Ferris State University (Mich.) and Winona State University (Minn.).
Arkansas Tech will continue its 2017 volleyball schedule this weekend with a road trip to the Sooner State. The Golden Suns will face East Central University at 6 p.m. Friday in Ada, Okla., before traveling to Durant, Okla., for a 10 a.m. contest against Southeastern Oklahoma State University on Saturday.
