All Arkansas Tech University faculty, staff and students age 18 or older who have not already been vaccinated are eligible to receive the one-dose Johnson and Johnson COVID-19 vaccine during a walk-in mass vaccination clinic at the W.O. Young Building Ballroom on Wednesday, April 7.

The clinic will be open from 9-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-3 p.m. Appointments may be made by calling (479) 968-0329 but are not required.

Members of the university community currently in quarantine or isolation due to COVID-19 or exposure to COVID-19 should not plan to attend this week’s vaccination clinic, which will be conducted by staff members from the ATU Health and Wellness Center.

Following an announcement by Gov. Asa Hutchinson on Tuesday, March 30, all Arkansans age 16 or older are eligible to make a vaccination appointment with a local pharmacy. Those under the age of 18 should note that the Johnson and Johnson vaccine has not yet been approved for minors.

A list of pharmacies providing the vaccine is available at www.arrx.org/covid-vaccine-pharmacies.
