ATU to Support 2020 Salvation Army Angel Tree

Salvation Army Angel Tree at ATU 2019

Members of the Arkansas Tech University community have the opportunity to make the holiday season brighter for Arkansas River Valley children in need.

The ATU College Panhellenic Council will host its annual Salvation Army Angel Tree reception from 11 a.m.-6 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 5, in Doc Bryan Student Services Center room 242.

ATU faculty, staff and students are invited to participate. Due to coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic considerations, individuals interested in supporting one or more children are required to register in advance at https://atu.presence.io/form/angel-tree-sign-up.

This will mark the fifth consecutive year that the ATU College Panhellenic Council has partnered with the Salvation Army location in Russellville for the benefit of the Angel Tree program.

The Salvation Army of the River Valley asked ATU’s Collegiate Panhellenic Council to find sponsors for 101 Angel Tree children in advance of the 2019 holiday season. Members of the ATU community adopted all 101 on a single night.

Send e-mail to Lauren Brown, ATU College Panhellenic Council president, at lbrown59@atu.edu for more information about ATU’s support of the 2020 Salvation Army Angel Tree.
