ATU Students Present at Regional Conference

Three Arkansas Tech University students presented a pair of posters at the 2019 Southwestern Psychological Association Conference April 5-7 in Albuquerque, N.M.

Senior Grant Collier of Russellville (photographed, left), graduate student Brooke Harris of El Dorado (photographed, right) and graduate student Dylan Shelton of Cedarville (photographed, center) offered information about the effects of intermittent transdermal vagus nerve stimulation on heart rate variability in humans.

They are researching the topic under the direction of Dr. Rodney Roosevelt, assistant professor of psychology, as part of what is believed to be the first clinical study in ATU history.
